Sika Thailand had provided Sika Coral planting since 2016. There are Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the marine environmental conservation by using waste materials, cement cube from testing of Sika Thailand to maximize benefit instead of landfill.
Due to the El Niño phenomenon, the global temperature and sea water rise which results in coral and the life of coral reefs causing growth halt and some parts change from different colors to white (bleaching) causing the coral to gradually die. In year 2010 coral reef in many areas across the country 90% of bleaching has occurred, so it was necessary to conserve and build coral reefs as a food source for marine life.
Sika Thailand had provided Sika Coral planting since 2016. There are Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the marine environmental conservation by using waste materials, cement cube from testing of Sika Thailand to maximize benefit instead of landfill and this is the one project to use of waste material maximum benefit. The aim of this project are:
- To restoration and increase coral reefs in the marine.
- To improve the marine ecosystem.
- To provide a habitat for aquatic life.
- Using waste materials, cement cube from testing to maximize benefit.
