Sika Thailand, firmly believing in the power of sharing and giving back to the community, has been supporting Operation Smile Thailand missions to provide free corrective procedures to underprivileged patients since 2014, in 2020 and 2021 activities were stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Operation Smile was in the position of processing activities again. Sika Thailand supported a mission by actively delivering volunteering work and by a donation of 2 million baht.
The support from Sika Thailand extends beyond financial aid with the volunteers from Sika Thailand participate in the mission doing non- medical work in many key roles such as filling out all patients’ information, managing traffic from one station to another station and photo shooting on the screening day, doing activities (painting and playing with toys), providing blanket pillows as well as essential items to patients and entertaining with patients before surgery on the operation day.
