Sika Thailand has realized the importance of a safe learning environment for children so that the company has made a project to restore and renovate the school building at Baan Yan Sue School, Chonburi.

There are a lot of under financed schools especially remote area in Thailand which need support to build/ renovate the facilities at their sites. This will help and give the opportunities for children to get better education. The aim of this project is to renovate classrooms and to improve playground with Sika products. We help them renovating 40 years old kindergarten classroom and library which have been damaged from moisture and termite. Wall and paint are damaged. The outer masonry wall has deteriorated, cracked, caused leaking into the inner wall. All the problem affects the health and safety of students. The renovation is to change from wood floor to concrete slab floor with tiles using our waterproofing product and tiling adhesive, to paint the rooms and to fulfil the books.

Sika Thailand was renovating the classrooms by changing the structure from wood floor to tile floor and repairing the walls by using Sika products. Many Sika products were being used in this project such as Sikadur-31 CF Normal, Sika Anchorfix-1, Lanko 102 Interior Skimcoat, SikaTile®-640 TG Thin Gap, SikaHyflex-160, Sikalastic-501 Roofseal Plus.
