This year's Sika Day was dedicated to community engagement and social work with the motto "Caring for each other beyond the expected". Sika Day is a day for all 33,000 employees to celebrate our Sika culture.
Sika Thailand celebrated Sika Day by organizing two activities for social and community engagement are are activities with the children at Father Ray Foundation, Chonburi and Tree planting activities at Nong Khae Industrial Estate, Saraburi.
Training games & activities with special needs children at Father Ray Foundation
To support & be part of the training team to educate children with special needs to gain appropriate education & trainings. Children can gain knowledge and learn new skills according to their ages and abilities. The foundation also have new learning materials provided by Sika Thailand as one of the training strategies.
Toilet repair for children with special needs at Father Ray Foundation
We also repair the toilets for children with special needs and help saving money for the foundation as well as saving time for teachers to find the workers to fix the damaged ones. Children with special needs at Father Ray Foundation have new toilet doors and Foundation can save some repairing budget for other spendings.
