Water is an important resource for the sustaining of plant and animal life on Earth including humans. Water is essential for us to drink, food preparation and body cleansing. In industry requires water in the production process, use to clean up waste use casting machine and cooling, etc. We use water in agriculture, industry and utilities.
Recognizing the vital importance of water for people and communities, Sika Thailand initiated a water reservoir project at Koh Sichang School, located on Koh Sichang Island in Si Racha District, Chonburi Province. The school had been facing a shortage of water for daily use. The newly constructed reservoir, measuring 6 x 8 meters, serves as a backup water source for 387 students and teachers.
A team of 18 Sika volunteers participated in constructing the reservoir by applying waterproofing with SikaTop® -107 Seal TH ,
a certified safe product suitable for drinking water applications. The reservoir was designed by Sika engineers and constructed using a variety of Sika products, including SikaLatex®, Sika Plastocrete®, Sika MonoTop® -412 TH and SikaWaterbar®
