Water is an important resource for the sustaining of plant and animal life on Earth including humans. Water is essential for us to drink, food preparation and body cleansing. In industry requires water in the production process, use to clean up waste use casting machine and cooling, etc. We use water in agriculture, industry and utilities.
Sika Thailand realizes the water and community project for building a concrete water tank size 6x8 metre for Koh Si Chang school in Chonburi province, which is located on the island and has a problem with a lack of consumption water. This water tank serves as a reserve of water for 387 students and teachers.
On March 24, 2023, Mr. Roland Wilder, Managing Director of Sika Thailand Co., Ltd. led a team of 18 volunteers from Sika to participate in the part of waterproofing inside water tank with waterproofing mortar SikaTop® -107 Seal TH that have been tested to be safe can be used with drinking water. This water tank was designed by our engineers. and use various Sika products in construction such as SikaLatex®, Sika Plastocrete®, Sika MonoTop® -412 TH and SikaWaterbar®
