Sika® Plastiment®-944 TH

MID-RANGE WATER REDUCING CONCRETE ADMIXTURE

Sika® Plastiment®-944 TH is a newly modified of midrange water reducing of admixture type for concrete. Sika® Plastiment®-944 TH is designed for maximize utilization of low binder content and cost optimization with fly ash 20-35% replacement.

Sika® Plastiment® -944 TH provided the following properties :
▪ Water reduction up to 18% against control mix
▪ Equal strength to control mix with less cement
▪ Better improvement of early and final strength   development
▪ Compensates for slow early strength gain achieved
  by cement replacements (PFA, GGBFS) Effectively
  work with cement replacement (PEA, GGBFS)
▪ Increased workability by its plasticized effect
▪ Good slump retention in high ambient temperature

Usage

▪ Strength improvement by total cost effectiveness for normal concrete.
▪ Extended workability in high ambient temperature.
▪ Cement saving is required for conventional concrete containing cement replacements such as Fly Ash or Slag.

12 months from the date of production If stored properly in undamaged,

Store in dry conditions, protected from direct sunlight at temperature

Application

Application Information

Dispensing

Sika® Plastiment®-944 TH is introduced into the mixer together with

mixing water.The addition of Sika® Plastiment®-944 TH to dry aggregate

and cement is not recommended,as it lowers plasticizing effects or the

water reduction.
Consumption

Recommended dosage

300-800 cc. per 100 kg of cement or cementitious weight. Actual dosage
depends on requirements and should be established from laboratory trials.
Sika® Plastiment®-944 TH is compatible with all types of Portland Cement, including S.R.C. type and Hydraulic Cement.
