Sika® Stabilizer-1518 TBM TH

Foaming agent for TBM - EPBM tunnelling (formerly Sika® Foam TBM 501 LS)

Sika® Stabilizer-1518 TBM TH is a specially designed liquid soil conditioning foaming agent without glycol. It has been formulated to be used with earth pressure balance machines (EPBM) for modifying the properties of the excavated soil particularly in highly cohesive soils.

Usage

  • Produces a stable foam which can be easily injected into highly cohesive soils during tunnelling operations with earth pressure balance machines (EPBM).
  • Especially suitable for the excavation of clay soils or for soil containing not more than 35% of sand.

12 months from date of production.

Storage conditions

The product must be stored in original, unopened and undamaged packaging in dry conditions and protected from direct sun exposure at temperatures between +5 °C and +35 °C.

If separation of the liquid product occurs, mix intensely before using.
