Sika MonoTop®-102 Water Plug TH is a chloride free, ready for use powder. When mixed with water,it becomes a powerful, fast-setting permanent waterplug.

Usage

To stop water leaks through rock and concrete, as well as through joints between concrete and steel (bolt surroundings, ducts, sheetpiles etc.) in subways, culverts, tunnels, dams, basements, pools.

Shelf life

9 months from the date of production if stored properly in undamaged, original, sealed packaging.

Application steps

APPLICATION

  • Cut concrete or rock in "V" shape around the leaking point.
  • Remove all chippings, unsound and loose particles and clean surface with water prior to application of Sika MonoTop®-102 Water Plug TH.
  • Fill prepare Sika MonoTop®-102 Water Plug TH into the V-shaped cut, starting outside and work towards the center of the leak (plug minor leaks first).
  • Hold material in place, and then strike off flush with surface.

If water pressure is very high, It is recommended to use wooden add to plug first, which is then covered and secured with Sika MonoTop®-102 Water Plug TH.
