DAVCO® Granito PLUS

PREPACKED STANDARD CEMENTITIOUS TILE ADHESIVE

DAVCO® Granito PLUS is a standard cement-based tile adhesive with polymer-modified as a single component, pre-packed tiling adhesive mortar combining cement with selected grades of sand and several admixtures. Only requires the addition of water.

Usage

  • Perfect for granito tiles up to 60x60 cm on both interior floor and wall installation.
  • Can be used for large size of granito exterior floor installation only.
  • For General ceramic tile. Both interior and exterior floor and wall installation.
  • Substrates: Cement. Also suitable for tiling onto waterproof membranes in wet areas.

Note:
1. This is an average calculation. Actual usage may differ from the estimate. Due to the different surface conditions. Surface absorption and the purpose of the individual's use.
2. For tile size more than 40 cm x 40 cm should apply tile adhesive on the surface and a very thin layer on the back of tile.
Application steps

MIXING

  • Mix DAVCO® Granito PLUS 20 kg with 4.8 - 5.6 Litres of clean water by electrical mixer until the compound is evenly distributed.
  • Allow the mixture to stand for 2 - 3 minutes for good reaction and reducing air bubble before using the adhesive.

APPLICATION

  • Spread tile adhesive by using notched trowel onto substrate.
  • Fix tile on tile adhesive and knocked over with rubber hammer.
  • The dual bonding will be applied when size of tile is over than 25 cm x 25 cm. Applying thin layer of tile adhesive onto a back of tile, then fix the tile on tile adhesive substrate.
  • Once the tiles have been laid, leave to stand for 24 hours or the tile adhesive is dry before grouting with DAVCO Tile Grout
