SikaTile®-360 XL

HIGH PERFORMANCE CEMENT BASED TILE ADHESIVE FOR BIG TILE

SikaTile®-360 XL is a high-performance cement-based tile adhesive with polymer-modified as a single component, pre-packed tiling adhesive mortar combining cement with selected grades of sand and several additives. Only requires the addition of water.

Usage

  • Suitable for large tiles up to 100x100 cm and low porous tiles such as porcelains, granites, marbles, and natural stones (Please contact our technical team before applying tile larger than 60 x 60 cm. on wall)
  • Can be used for ceramic and clay tile applied in small swimming pools. (water pressure ≤ 0.15 bar)

Note :

2. For tile sizes larger than 40x40 cm, apply tile adhesive on the surface and a very thin layer on the back of the tile.
Application steps

MIXING

  • Mix SikaTile®-360 XL

    - 20 kg with 4.8 - 5.6 Litres of clean water

    - 25 kg with 6.0 - 7.0 Litres of clean water

    with an electrical mixer until the compound is

    evenly distributed.

  • Allow the mixture to stand for 2 - 3 minutes for a good reaction and reduce air bubbles before using the adhesive.   

APPLICATION

  • Spread tile adhesive by using a notched trowel onto the substrate.
  • Fix tile on tile adhesive and knock it over with a rubber hammer.
  • Dual bonding should be applied when the tile size is larger than 25 cm x 25 cm. Apply a thin layer of tile adhesive onto the back of the tile, then fix the tile onto the adhesive substrate.
  • Once the tiles have been laid, leave them to stand for 24 hours or until the tile adhesive is dry before grouting with SikaTile Tile Grout.
