LANKO® 228 Superflex

Component A : Grey powder combining special cement, mineral filler and admixtures
Component B : White liquid contain of resins in aqueous dispersion

12 months from the date of production If stored properly in undamaged and unopened, original sealed packaging.

1. The 2 components must be mixed using a slow-speed machine mixer (300-500 rpm).
2. Follow the instructions below to ensure a homogenous mixture:
   - pour ¾ of the resin into a suitably-sized container.
   - add the powder gradually while mixing in order to obtain a plastic consistency.
   - add the rest of the liquid and mix for 3 minutes.
3. Leave to stand for 2 minutes.

1. LANKO® 228 Superflex can be applied by hand with a brush or float, by pump and machine.
2. Apply a 1^st coat allowing a rough but reasonable quantity of 1.5 to 2 kg/m².
3. The 2^nd coat can be applied after a drying period of 2 to 6 hours (temperature dependent), allowing a quantity of 1.5 to 2 kg/m².
4. The total thickness of the covering should be approximately 2 mm, and never less than 1.5 mm.
5. Coats can be floated using a trowel.
6. Mortar must be used within 30 min of preparation (at 25°C).

REINFORCEMENT

• For substrates subject to micro-cracking, the 1st coat should be reinforced with LANKO GLASS FIBER MESH.
• This same material should be used for all localized reinforcement needs.

SUITABLE COVERING MATERIALS

• LANKO® 228 Superflex can be covered with tiles within a period of 3 days minimum to 7 days maximum after application of the final coat bonded with DAVCO ULTRAFLEX.

• High-traffic areas should be protected against abrasion.
