Usage

  • Main use: Bathroom and kitchen using fiber cement board prior to tiling.
  • Interior walls/Floors.
  • Substrates: concrete, mortar, plasterboard, dry screed, fiber cement board (Please contact our company for other specific substrates).
  • Can be used on top of existing tile for tile-on-tile application (Please contact our company for more information).

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

  1. Substrates must be clean, solid, sound, and free of dust and any traces of oil, laitance, etc. Substrates must also be perfectly dry.
  2. Specific jointing issues must be dealt with before the main work begins.
  • If a joint sealing strip (LANKO GLASS FIBER MESH) is used, it must be embedded in the first coat of LANKO 452 DAMPFLEX.
  • For joint sealing strip must then immediately be covered with a second coat of LANKO 452 DAMPFLEX
  • The overlap between 2 strips must be at least 5 cm.

MIXING

LANKO 452 DAMPFLEX is ready to use. Do not diluted.
