To demonstrate collaboration and raise awareness in line with the principles of the Circular Economy, Sika Thailand launched the Sika Circular campaign on March 18, coinciding with Global Recycling Day 2024. The campaign invites employees to join in creating value from unused items under the concept of Waste to Value.
As part of this campaign, Sika employees enthusiastically donated their unused uniforms, which were collected and recycled into new fabric. This fabric was then woven into “Sustainabili-tees” — environmentally friendly shirts for everyone.
Every thread in these newly woven shirts carries meaning — symbolizing collaboration and awareness in line with Circular Economy principles. Made entirely from 100% recycled fabric, these shirts help reduce the consumption of natural resources, minimize water and energy use, lower CO₂ emissions, and decrease chemical usage in the dyeing process.
Beyond developing sustainable solutions and products that combine performance with environmental responsibility, Sika is also committed to actively engaging with communities, people, and the planet in a sustainable manner.
The Sika Circular campaign, under the Sika Cares initiative, is part of Sika’s global sustainability strategy. It emphasizes community engagement and environmental stewardship in the local areas where Sika operates worldwide. Launched in 2019, the initiative supports education and vocational training, infrastructure development, climate and environmental protection, and fosters a sense of connection among Sika employees — uniting them in the mission to give back and contribute to a more sustainable world.
